Please read these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) carefully before using the www.canra.ca website. These Terms govern your access to and use of the website and form a legally binding agreement between you and the Canadian Alliance of Naturopathic Regulatory Authorities.

Welcome to www.canra.ca (the “Website”), operated by the Canadian Alliance of Naturopathic Regulatory Authorities (“CANRA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing, browsing, or otherwise using the Website, you (“you,” “your,” or “User”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Website.


These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Website.


2.  About CANRA
CANRA is a national coalition of provincial and territorial regulatory authorities responsible for the regulation of naturopathic medicine in Canada. CANRA is not itself a regulatory authority and does not register, license, investigate, or discipline individual practitioners. Regulation of individual Naturopathic Doctors is carried out by the member provincial and territorial regulatory bodies in their respective jurisdictions.


3.  Purpose of the Website
The Website is intended to provide general information about CANRA, its member regulators, national entry-to-practice competencies, assessment and examination programs, and related regulatory resources. The content is provided for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional or the applicable regulatory authority in your jurisdiction.


4.  Not Medical or Professional Advice
Information on the Website is not medical, health, legal, or professional advice. Nothing on the Website is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any health condition. Users with health concerns should consult a qualified healthcare professional. The CANRA name, wordmark, and logo are trademarks of the Canadian Alliance of Naturopathic Regulatory Authorities. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.


You may view, download, and print content from the Website for personal, non-commercial, educational, or regulatory use, provided you do not remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices. Any other use -including reproduction, republication, distribution, modification, or commercial use - requires prior written permission from CANRA.


6.  Acceptable Use

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Website shall be resolved in the courts located in Alberta, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.


15.  Language
These Terms have been drafted in English. If a French translation is provided, it is for convenience only. In the event of any inconsistency between the English and French versions, the English version shall prevail unless otherwise required by applicable law.


16.  Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.


17.  Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by CANRA on the Website, constitute the entire agreement between you and CANRA concerning the Website and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral, or written.
